Gin & Tonic

The Drink That Saved The British Empire

It was an April 9th when the Civil War ended, and it was another April 9th when King George V was crowned. And, perhaps just as importantly, on April 9th of each year, we celebrate gin and tonics on a national scale.

Is the fact that National Gin and Tonic Day falls on the same day as these other historical events a simple coincidence? Maybe. All we know is that International Gin & Tonic Day is exactly what it sounds like: an excuse to drink G&T.

Attention, gin lovers: you'll definitely want to add these recipes to your cocktail repertoire. The glass, the ice, the tonic... what is really important to prepare a perfect gin and tonic? How to serve it, how to innovate it... We will tell you everything! The name itself is already a spoiler for the recipe: gin + tonic water. Is it that simple? Yes, but that does not mean this world-famous simple drink has no secrets if you want to make it like a true expert.

SASHA SAYS:

" The perfect gin and tonic exists. We are far from those gin and tonics that are packed with exotic fruits, spices, or wild flowers, because we know that you do not need that much to enjoy a good gin and that, as in many other things in life, less is more. If all this has left you craving a gin, now you know how to make it. Get on it and chin, chin!"
