Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2013
The latest vintage release from Perrier Jouet Champagne is a triumph. Characterised by harmony across the blend, which combines Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in almost equal proportions, and harmony over time.
Cellar Master Séverine Frerson describes the vintage as combining the brand’s characteristic floral lime blossom notes with subtle glints of green apple, ripe pear, grapefruit zest, ginger, tangerine, a hint of green pepper and whiff of delicate salinity. This majestic cuvée maintains its style and philosophy as it ages.
Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque is the original Belle Epoque vintage cuvée, first appearing in 1964. Instantly recognisable throughout the world, its bottle is adorned with the graceful spray of Japanese white anemones created for Maison Perrier-Jouët by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902.
