The team at Discarded Spirits specializes in using ingredients that would otherwise go to waste to create delicious spirits, like Banana Peel Rum! Its base is a Caribbean rum aged in whiskey barrels. Banana peels are then added to it for two weeks to give it a whole load of fruity, tasty deliciousness. The banana peels come from a flavoring company that uses the fruit but not the peels, so they would not normally be used. Discarded Spirits put these peels to use, and the result is marvelous.
Rich flavors of Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding, with deep fruity flavors of milk chocolate and raisins and a finish of crystalized ginger.
HOW TO SERVE
Delicious served neat over ice, mixed with ginger ale, or used in fruity rum-based cocktails like Daiquiri or Pina Colada!
