The refinement and complexity of this bourbon is due to the best quality ingredients that go into its composition. The mixture of rye, corn and barley malt, to which a dash of yeast and pure spring water is added, gives this variety an exciting character. The original taste of this bourbon is influenced by the high content of rye. Bulleit Bourbon respects the original recipe and production technique in small batches, used 150 years ago by Augustus Bulleit.
Medium amber in color, with gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas. Mid-palate is smooth with tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg. Finish is long, dry, and satiny with a light toffee flavor.
