The story of Italy's favourite cocktail begins over 100 years ago, when the Barbieri Brothers unveiled a new aperitivo at the Padua International Fair in 1919. Inspired by the drinks they'd enjoyed in France, they named it Aperol, from the French word for aperitivo, "apero". With its iconic orange hue and unique, refreshing flavour, the Aperol Spritz quickly became the drink of choice for groups of friends gathering together in the early evening.
Perfume of orange peel with hints of herbs and roots sweetened by a touch of vanilla. An intense orange on the surface with pleasantly bittersweet herbal and woody notes. Velvety and rounded with reflections of intense orange and wood.
