The origins of Mother's Day and the commemoration of motherhood go back to the ancient Greeks. Their spring festival celebrated the goddess Rhea, who was considered the mother of the gods. While the date varies from place to place, this year Mother's Day in the UK is celebrated on March 27.

- 120 ml Dom Perignon Rose
- 15 ml Rose Water
- 15 ml Cranberry Juice
- Half a squeezed Lemon

Instead of giving mom a bouquet of violets, give her this cocktail instead. It highlights the elegant floral aroma of crème de violette with gin, fresh lemon juice, and Lambrusco, for a drink that's both elegant and sparkling.
