SASHA'S LETTER FROM ITALY

The majesty of Scotland has long drawn me to its rolling lowlands, stately highlands and inspiring islands. So much so that I once took up residence there in a crumbling estate on the north western shore - hellbent on learning the craft of whiskey making. After what was intended to be a short stay resulted in years, my admiration for Scotland will forever hold firm in my heart.

The Scots are exceptional in character as they are in their unfaltering love for practicing their craft; be it distilling or milling. Indeed, few nations have done more to advance humanity’s refinement of the art of spirits, from whiskey to gin, and their influence is felt across every good bar in the world. Kicking off a celebration or winding down the day could not be better punctuated than with a glass of Scotch or a Scottish-born gin cocktail… Slàinte mhath!
